First Presbyterian Church of Kalispell

Called by Christ to joyfully serve and expand the Kingdom of God.
STRONG REFORMING FAITH
The good news of the Gospel is that the triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit— creates, redeems, sustains, rules, and transforms all things and all people. This one living God, the Scriptures say, liberated the people of Israel from oppression and covenanted to be their God. By the power of the Spirit, this one living God is incarnate in Jesus Christ, who came to live in the world, die for the world, and be raised again to new life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ announces the nearness of God’s kingdom, bringing good news to all who are impoverished, sight to all who are blind, freedom to all who are oppressed, and proclaiming the Lord’s favor upon all creation.

VISION

At FPC, we are “Called by Christ to Joyfully Serve and Expand the Kingdom of God.” To that end we empower the ministry and vision of our congretation to dream dreams, experiment, and work for justice, mercy, and joy in our community and throughout the world. Every year, ancient scriptures ignite hearts with compassion for our community and new ministry opportunities take shape. Living into this Gospel, we witness and celebrate lives changed, restored, and resurrected each day, each week.
God is faithful. God is generous.

The Church is where we practice forgiveness, faith, courage, hope and love.
COMMUNITY

A Main Street Congregation
for the Main Cares of the Community

We are uniquely blessed to serve the Flathead Valley, our neighborhoods, and community all from our unique and historic location on Main Street. Located in Kalispell since 1890, we are blocks away from Flathead High School, two elementary schools, vibrant Main Street shops, the county courthouse and jail, a number of assisted living facilities and half a mile from our regional hospital. Our unique location inspires our continuing investment and service in the community. At First Presbyterian, our Reformed tradition confirms we are elected in Christ for salvation and service! We serve one another joyfully!
